Research and results
How the analysis works and how to read what it found.
- How does the research work, stage by stage?Find, filter, group, read, check, decide, brief. Every stage stores what it found, and every decision points back to those records.
- Where does the data come from?Search volumes, rankings, results pages and backlink strength from DataForSEO; pages read through Firecrawl; judgment from Anthropic's Claude models working on that stored evidence.
- Is the AI making this up?No. Every claim in the plan links to a stored record, and a fact the research did not find shows as a marked placeholder rather than a guess.
- What is on the Keywords tab?Every keyword found for the run, with volume, difficulty, intent, where it came from, your current position and whether it was kept, dropped or left unverified.
- What do kept, dropped and unverified mean?Kept keywords fit the profile and have measured demand. Dropped ones did not fit, and say why. Unverified ones came from real customer language but have no recorded volume.
- What is the Groups view? Keywords whose top results overlap are one group, because one page can win them all. The Groups view shows each cluster with its need, demand, verdict and decision.
- What do the verdicts mean: clear opening, partial opening, well served? The verdict says how well the pages that currently rank serve the searcher. A clear opening means none of them does; well served means they already do, and that is a real finding.
- What does "reachable" mean, and how is it decided?Reachable means your site can realistically rank for the group within about six months, judged from your domain's strength against the domains that rank, the difficulty, and whether you already have a page.
- What do build, improve and skip mean?Build a new page, improve a page you already have, or leave the group alone. Every decision says why, what the page must contain, the size of the job and how confident the research is.
- Why was a page skipped?Because the current results already serve the need, because your site cannot realistically rank for it, or because another page in the plan already covers it. The reason is on the row.
- What is on a page in the plan? The decision in full, the demand, the opening and whether you can win it, each with its evidence, then what the page must deliver, the brief, open questions, the work involved and the button to write the draft.
- How do I open the evidence behind a decision?Press See the Evidence under any of the three cards on a page, or scroll to the Evidence section at the bottom. Every record the decision used is there.
- Can I run the research again, and what changes?Yes, any time. A rerun uses the current profile and fresh results where the cache has expired, and the earlier plan stays in History.
- How do I check keywords I already have in mind?Paste up to 50 keywords on the site's Check Keywords screen. Each gets the same inspection as a full analysis, at 5 credits a keyword.
- How accurate are the search volumes and difficulty scores? They are estimates from keyword databases, good for comparing keywords against each other, not a forecast of your traffic. Demand from real customer language is shown separately and honestly.
