Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [Company Name] ("we", "us") about your use of Legiit Keywords (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

1. What the Service does

The Service performs keyword research for websites you submit. It reads pages on those sites, collects search data from third-party providers, inspects pages that rank in search results and produces recommendations, keyword tables, briefs and reports. Parts of the output are generated by automated systems, including large language models. They are research aids, not guarantees of search rankings, traffic or revenue.

2. Accounts

• You sign in with an emailed link or with Google sign-in. Keep your email account secure; anything done through your account is your responsibility.
• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
• One person may not run multiple accounts to collect extra free credits.

3. Sites you submit

You may only submit websites you own, operate or are authorised to research on behalf of the owner. You are responsible for the site URLs, keywords, competitor domains and other inputs you provide. We may refuse or remove any site that appears to breach these terms or the law.

4. Credits and payment

• Runs are paid for with credits. New accounts receive a free allotment. Prices per run type are shown in the app and may change; we will not change the price of a run you have already started.
• Credits are charged when a run starts. If a run fails for a reason on our side, charged credits are returned.
• We do not currently sell credits or process payments. When paid plans launch, we will publish payment terms and any payment data will be handled by a payment provider, not stored by us.
• Free credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

• research or target sites you have no right to work on;
• scrape, resell or redistribute the underlying third-party data as a dataset;
• attempt to access other users' data, bypass credit limits or interfere with the Service;
• submit content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.

6. Your data and our results

You own the inputs you submit. You may use the recommendations, briefs, keyword tables and reports produced for your sites for any lawful purpose, including sharing them with clients. We keep research results, cached search data and page snapshots to run the Service, to let you reopen past runs and to avoid buying the same data twice. Cached third-party data may be reused across accounts; your site profile, runs and recommendations are only visible to you, to people you share a report link with, and to our administrators for support.

7. Third-party data

Search volumes, rankings, results pages and backlink data come from DataForSEO. Page content is read using Firecrawl. Automated analysis uses Anthropic's Claude models. These providers have their own terms and availability; we are not responsible for errors or gaps in their data.

8. Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is". We aim for reliable operation but do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms by email or in the app.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or [minimum amount] if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting [Contact Email]; we delete the account and its sites, runs and results as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
