Research and results

Can I run the research again, and what changes?

Yes, any time. A rerun uses the current profile and fresh results where the cache has expired, and the earlier plan stays in History.

Press Run Research Again on the site page. It costs the same as a first run and takes the same choices: standard or deep, extra topics, competitor gap and customer language.

What changes between runs

  • The profile. Edits and a fresh confirmation change what the research looks for. Rerun after changing offerings, brand terms or excluded terms.
  • The results. Live results, page contents and backlink data are cached for about a week or two and refetched after that, so a run a month later sees the search results as they are then.
  • Your own rankings. If pages from the last plan are ranking now, the new run sees them and may say improve instead of build.

What stays

Every earlier run is kept with its plan, keywords and evidence. The History tab lists them; the run picker on the plan lets you open an older one. A shared link keeps pointing at the run it was made for.

A failed run

A run that stopped keeps the stages that finished and resumes from the last checkpoint when you run again, so the rerun is faster. Your credits from the failed run were already returned.

When to rerun

After a meaningful change to the site or its profile, after publishing several pages from the plan, or every few months as the results move. Rerunning weekly rarely shows anything new.
