Research and results

What does the "AI answers over time" table show?

Each research run samples live Google results for every page decision. The History tab shows, run by run, how many of those searches had an AI answer and how many cited your site.

When the research decides a page, it fetches the live Google results for the group's main search and stores them, including whether an AI answer appeared and which pages it cited. That is what makes the Clickability verdict and the Where to get mentioned list possible.

Because every run stores its own sample, running the research again gives you a second sample, and the History tab draws the trend. The table AI answers over time has a row per finished research run:

  • Pages decided: how many page decisions the run made, which is how many searches were sampled.
  • With an AI answer: how many of those searches showed one, and the share.
  • Cites this site: on how many of them your own site was among the pages the AI answer drew from.
  • Cited on: the first few page groups where it was.

It is a sample of your own opportunities, not the whole web, and the searches differ a little from run to run as the plan changes. Read it for direction: whether AI answers are spreading across your market, and whether your site is starting to be a source for them. Keeping the site on a monthly schedule adds a row a month without you doing anything.
