Sites and profiles
Live and planned sites, the profile, markets, competitors and settings.
- Can I research a site that is not built yet?Yes. Choose "I Am Planning One", describe the business, and the research treats it as a new domain: what to launch first, and what a site with no authority can reach.
- How do I fix the profile?Open the Profile tab, press Edit, change any field, save and confirm again. The next run uses the new version.
- What are brand terms and excluded terms?Brand terms are words that mean your own brand; searches containing them are set aside because you already rank for them. Excluded terms are anything you never want in a plan.
- How do I change the country the research uses?The market is set when you add the site and can be changed on the Settings tab. It decides whose search results and volumes are used.
- How are competitors chosen, and can I change them?Comparable sites are found automatically from what ranks for your topics, filtered so that giant publishers are not treated as peers. You can add, disable or remove them on the Settings tab.
- What are writing rules?Rules every draft for the site follows, added to the platform's own. Tone, spelling, words to avoid, things to always include.
- How do I take a planned site live?On the Settings tab, add the site's address under Go live. It becomes a live site, and the next profile run reads the real pages.
- How do I delete a site?On the site's Settings tab, type its name under Delete this site and confirm. Everything researched for it goes with it.
