How do I re-run the research on a schedule, and what does "what changed" show?
Set a site to research again every month or quarter. Each run costs the usual credits and emails you what moved since last time: new pages, verdicts that changed, AI answers that appeared.
Search results move. A page that was a clear opening in March can be well served by June, an AI answer can appear on the searches you targeted, and new searches show up as your market changes. Instead of remembering to run the research again, put the site on a schedule.
Setting it
- Open the site's Settings tab.
- Under Run the research again on a schedule, choose Every month or Every quarter and save.
The first scheduled run is booked one period from now. Each run costs the same credits as one you start yourself and needs them in your balance at the time. If the balance is short, we email you once, wait a week, and try again; nothing is charged for a run that does not start. Choose Off to stop.
What changed
Every research run after the first compares itself with the previous one for the site. The plan then opens with a card called What changed since the previous research, and the email that announces a scheduled run carries the same summary in its subject line.
Pages are matched between the two runs by the searches they cover, so a page that was renamed still matches. The card lists:
- New pages: opportunities the previous research did not have.
- Verdicts that moved: Fit, Clickability or Value changed for a matched page, with the old and new level.
- Action changed: a page that was "build" is now "improve", or the other way round.
- Now facing an AI answer: the searches for a matched page show an AI answer where the previous run saw none.
- No longer proposed: pages the previous plan had that this one does not.
Below it, the counts of keywords found and lost. Everything on the card links to the page it describes, and older plans stay in the History tab, so you can open the previous version and compare by hand.
