How do I take a planned site live?
On the Settings tab, add the site's address under Go live. It becomes a live site, and the next profile run reads the real pages.
- Open the planned site's Settings tab.
- Under Go live, enter the site's address and press the button.
- The site becomes a live site. Press Read the Site on the site page to draft a profile from the real pages, then confirm it.
What is kept
Every earlier run, plan and brief stays in History, labelled as research for the planned version. Your description, audience and monetization notes stay on the Settings tab for reference.
What changes
From the next run the research sees the real site: your pages, your rankings, your backlink strength. Decisions can now be improve as well as build, and reachability is judged from the site as it is rather than as a new domain.
