Troubleshooting
My research run is stuck or failed
A run that shows no progress for more than fifteen minutes has usually hit a provider slowdown and will resume on its own. A failed run returns your credits and can be run again from where it stopped.
Still running, no progress
The run page shows the current stage and a log. Some stages are quiet for a few minutes while pages are read or results fetched. If the log has not changed for more than fifteen minutes:
- The data providers occasionally slow down or refuse requests for a while. The run waits and retries on its own for up to about eight minutes per request before giving up.
- A deploy of our own can pause a run for a minute; it resumes from its last checkpoint automatically.
Leave it. If it is still not moving after thirty minutes, press Stop This Run. Credits come back, and Run Research Again picks up from the last finished stage.
Failed
The site page and the run page show the reason. The credits were returned the moment it failed; the ledger shows the return.
- Provider error. A data provider rejected a request or was unavailable. Run again; the finished stages are reused.
- No keywords found. See The research found no keywords.
- Insufficient credits. The balance was short when the worker picked the run up. Buy credits and start again.
If it keeps failing
Email help@legiit.com with the site name and the time; we can read the run's log on our side.
