How do I write a draft?

1. Open a page in the plan and press Write the Draft. It is also on the page's Draft tab.
2. Optionally press Add instructions to give the writer a steer: tone, sections to add or leave out, a length. See below.
3. Confirm. Twenty-five credits are charged, returned if the writing fails.
4. The draft page refreshes itself while the page is written, usually three to six minutes. You can leave and come back.

Instructions and length

• Instructions. A few lines in your own words: "warmer tone", "lead with the price comparison", "do not mention the guarantee". They apply to this version only; rules for every draft on the site go in the site's writing rules.
• Length. The brief's range, capped at 3,500 words, unless you choose a length from about 1,000 to about 6,000.

What you get

• The page in full, with headings, lists and tables where the brief asked for them.
• Title tag, meta description and slug, each in a copy block.
• FAQ schema as JSON-LD when the page has a FAQ section.
• Internal links to the pages the brief named.
• A Rule check against the writing rules.
• Before publishing: the writer's own notes on what a person must verify or decide.

Another version
