What are the title tag, meta description, slug and FAQ schema blocks?
The on-page package: everything besides the body text a page needs to be published well. Each has a copy button.
Beside the draft text you will find:
- Title tag. What the search result shows as the page's title. Kept within the usual length and built around the group's main keyword.
- Meta description. The two lines under the title in a search result. Written to earn the click, not to stuff keywords.
- Slug. The last part of the page's address, in lower case with hyphens.
- FAQ schema. When the page has a FAQ section, the questions and answers as JSON-LD, ready to paste into the page's head or your CMS's schema field. Search engines can show these as expandable questions under the result.
Each block has a Copy button. The HTML export includes the title, description and schema in the document head so a developer can take the file as it is.
Editing them
The blocks come from the draft's data and are regenerated with the draft. To change one, edit the exported file or your CMS; the blocks on the page reflect what was generated.
